Born in Milan, Italy, Liviana Caporale is a distinguished arts administrator specializing in opera and symphonic production, with an extensive career in leading international institutions.

Since 2015, she has been part of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia, where she currently serves as Artistic Coordinator. In this role, she plays a key part in the planning, development, and execution of the artistic season, actively participating in casting processes, auditions, and contract negotiations, as well as overseeing the artistic development of productions.

Previously, she worked as a production manager for DECCA - Sugar in Milan, contributing to major operatic recordings alongside internationally renowned figures such as Zubin Mehta, Plácido Domingo, and Fabio Luisi, as well as artists including Andrea Bocelli.

Her professional background also includes extensive experience as an artist manager and legal advisor within artistic agencies in Italy, where she was involved in the international career development of prominent singers, conductors, and stage directors, collaborating with opera houses and festivals across Europe and Israel.

For over a decade, she was part of AsLiCo in Milan, where she held roles in artistic management and production, contributing to competitions and training initiatives such as EuroOperaStudio, supporting the development of emerging opera talent across Europe.

Her career has taken her to major opera centers in countries including Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Israel, giving her a broad international perspective and deep insight into the operatic field.

Caporale holds a degree in Law from the University of Bologna, with a specialization in the legal framework of opera foundations, complementing her artistic expertise with a strong foundation in cultural management and legislation.
