His musical studies began at the age of 9 as a child singer, an activity in which he later worked professionally for 20 years. As a cultural promoter  He has served as general director, artistic director, creative producer, artistic representative, consultant for different theaters, lecturer, creator of workshops and communicator on radio, television, internet and written media.


He has been a jury in different  operatic singing competitions, such as the Carlo Morelli National Singing Competition (Mexico), Opera Prima (Mexico), Neue Stimmen (Germany), Competizione dell'Opera (Germany), Laguna Mágica International Singing Competition (Chile); He was co-founder of the International Festival of Music and New Technologies Visiones Sonoras; Advisor of the Cultural Institute of León, of the Guanajuato Cultural Forum, of Ónix, A.C. Currently, he is part of the Board of Directors of Ópera Latinoamérica.




2018 – Present   General and artistic director of Ópera de Bellas Artes and member of the Board of Directors of the Ópera de Bellas Artes Studio (Mexico)

2010 – 2017: General Director of the Bicentennial Theater (León, Mexico)

2009 – 2010: Director of Fine Arts Opera (Mexico)

2007 – 2009: National Coordinator of Fine Arts Music and Opera (Mexico)

2002 – 2007: Deputy director of artistic programming at the Nezahualcóyotl Hall, Simón Bolívar Amphitheater and Carlos Chávez Hall (UNAM, Mexico)

2000 – 2002: Artistic representative of the tenor Ramón Vargas

1996 – 2000: Deputy Director of Support for Artistic Development of the National Fund for Culture and the Arts (Mexico)
